Meet Our Vet, Dr. Susan Konecny

Hello! I would like to introduce myself.

I graduated from the University of California at Davis in 1994 and have been a small animal veterinarian for 14 years.

Prior to veterinary school, I attended the University of Pennsylvania, where I obtained a B.S. in Nursing and practiced as a registered nurse for 8 years. In addition to my in-home veterinary practice, I also provide medical and surgical services for the Southern Oregon Humane Society and have presented educational seminars to Jackson County Search and Rescue.

I have always been amazed by the love, loyalty, intuition and intelligence of animals. As a result, I have a strong drive to protect and care for them. This is the motivation behind my desire to provide excellent veterinary care in the most compassionate and comprehensive manner.

I treat every pet as my own and take pride in giving the very best service possible. I love fostering the bond between pets and people and watching the joy they give each other. My veterinary interests include preventative wellness care, dermatology, internal medicine, behavioral counseling and senior care.

My family, in addition to my husband Grant, includes Laurel, a rescued chocolate lab mix, and Winter, a rescued cat who believes she is royalty.
